Base Stations: Two 1.0 Base stations
Since the Vive Headset is a Lighthouse-based headset, it requires a 1.0 Base station to track it’s position in 3D space.

Base station tracking is sweeps of infrared light; so it’s sensitive to objects that reflect infrared light in your environment, like mirrors, metal, or glass framed paintings. If things start jittering or floating for no reason, check for reflections in your room.
