How many points of tracking does Mocap Fusion allow?

Mocap Fusion supports up to 24 points of tracking. This limit includes both the base stations and the tracked points. So if you have 2 base stations, you can only use the remaining 22 points for tracking.

Both the headset and controllers can be replaced with trackers if need be.

What hardware should I use?

Any hardware connecting to SteamVR is supported, but here are some proven examples.

Issues with this setup?

Since Meta Quest headsets use Inside-Out tracking, controllers & hand tracking outside of the view of the headset cameras won’t track accurately.
